The IATA airport code is ATL. The Domestic Terminal is located at 6000 North Terminal Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30320. The Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal is located at 2600 Maynard H. Jackson Jr. Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30354.

ATL operates two main terminals—Domestic on the west and International on the east—housing 197 gates across seven parallel concourses: T, A, B, C, D, E, and F. Domestic flights operate out of Concourses T through D, while international flights primarily use Concourses E and F.

Passengers can take the Plane Train, a free automated people mover operating underground 24/7 that connects all concourses (T through F) and the Domestic Terminal. You can also walk between concourses using the underground Transportation Mall walkway equipped with moving sidewalks.

If you have not gone through security, you cannot use the Plane Train. Instead, use the complimentary Terminal-to-Terminal Shuttle bus that runs 24 hours a day outside the arrivals levels of both terminals.

Official guidelines recommend arriving at least 2 hours early for domestic flights and at least 3 hours early for international flights to ensure adequate time for bag check, security screening, and transit to your gate.

In the Domestic Terminal, security checkpoints include the Main Checkpoint, North Checkpoint, and South Checkpoint. The International Terminal maintains its own dedicated security checkpoint on the departures level.

Yes. TSA PreCheck lanes are located at the Domestic South Checkpoint and the International Checkpoint. Dedicated CLEAR verification lanes are also available at both Domestic and International terminals.

Access to ATL terminals is restricted 24/7 to ticketed airline passengers, authorized personnel, individuals meeting or dropping off passengers, and persons conducting airport-related commercial business.

Yes. The MARTA Red and Gold rail lines terminate directly inside the western end of the Domestic Terminal between the North and South baggage claim areas. A free shuttle connector links the Domestic MARTA station to the International Terminal.

The Rental Car Center operates at 2200 Rental Car Center Parkway. It connects directly to the Domestic Terminal via the elevated ATL SkyTrain, a free 5-minute ride with intermediate stops at the Georgia International Convention Center and Gateway Center hotels.

For the Domestic Terminal, follow signs to the dedicated Rideshare Pickup zones located outside the North and South economy lots. At the International Terminal, rideshare pickups occur on the arrivals outer curb.

ATL provides Hourly, Daily, Economy, and ATL West parking decks at the Domestic Terminal, as well as an International Hourly deck and an International Park-Ride deck. Live space availability can be monitored on the official airport website.

Yes. Free Cell Phone Waiting Lots are available at both the Domestic and International terminals so drivers can park at no cost while waiting for arriving travelers to collect their luggage.
